How Do I Know Which Edition I Have?
Many customers ask how they can determine the age of their Schultz & Dooley and other collectible steins. For your convenience, The Brewery Shop has assembled this brief guide to doing just that.

On Dooley (in green lettering):

Ceramarte of Brazil produced the steins from 1972 - 1982.
These steins are marked:

Made in Europe Imports (MIE) was the importer between 1982 - 1983.
They are marked:

Trans World Marketing (TWM), an offshoot of MIE,
was the importer from 1984 - 1985. They are marked:

In 1985 we imported directly from Germany's Simon Peter GERZ company, one of Germany's oldest producers of character steins. They are marked:

First edition steins came into being during 1989.

The name of the brewery which gave birth to the steins was added in 1994 - 1999.
They were molded by Simon Peter Gerz and had the markings:

In the year 2000, our steins were once again made by King Werks.
They are marked:
